1. Use the paper that your teacher gave you to write the rough draft copy of your story.

2. Check your story for mistakes. (You can ask someone for  help.)

3. Rewrite your story. Make it look beautiful. (Don’t forget your name.)

     You can write it on paper or use a computer. Put some pictures in too.

During the October break, you will have the opportunity to practice your English where ever you may go.  It is important to use your English skills as often as possible in order to incorporate English into your daily life.  So do not forget to practice.  Have a wonderful and safe holiday!!!!

Here's What Is Coming Up!!!!!!!!!

Week 5 Grades 4,5 and 6 will be taking their Reading CAT. After that, during Week 6 Students will be taking their Writing CAT.

Here are some helpful hints on how to prepare for the upcoming tests:
Look back over Unit 1 and the beginning of Unit 2 vocabulary and spelling words.
Go through your Student Book and Workbook to review what we have covered.
Make sure and eat a big breakfast and get enough sleep.

Being confident is very important for learning English. Exam Week - March 12th - 16th

It's exam week ... are you ready?

When you do your exams don't forget to:

- Listen to your teacher when he/she talks about each test.
- Read the instructions for each section before you start.
- Check your work for mistakes before you give it to your teacher.
- Practice your presentation ... make sure you can remember it!

This week is review week before we start our exams in week 14.
What can students do to get ready for exams?

Look over units 6-9.
Make sure you can remember all your spelling words.
Read your notebook, scrapbook and worksheets.
Prepare and practice your speaking presentation.
Listen to your teacher during review week.

Study hard and good luck for your exams.
